What will be the shipping cost be to my delivery address?

Shipping charges can be acquired on the website for suburbs and post codes that are covered by our couriers, and therefore set up in our system. To find out the shipping charges that would apply to your order and/or area simply place an item(s) in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Once you provide your shipping details the system will then be able to determine what rates would apply. However, if your suburb/post code is not currently set up in our system you will not be able to access the website, in which case you could email us at support@pantrypacker.com.au to see if we might be able to help you out anyhow (this is generally limited to smaller products and quantities as shipping rates to regional areas can be quite costly otherwise).

 

 

How do I get free delivery?

Free delivery is available within most major metropolitan areas surrounding the nearest dispatch centre where the order total is $50+ after any discounts have been applied. If your order is eligible for free shipping it will automatically be applied to your order, otherwise the corresponding delivery charge will be displayed at checkout.


 

When will my order be delivered?

Please be advised that deliveries are not made on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Our office and dispatch centres are closed on these days.

 

  Deliveries within South Australia  

Adelaide Metro (Adlmetro)

All metro orders received prior to 11am on a business day will be dispatched on the next delivery day* (Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays)

*This information is based on a normal calendar week, not taking into consideration any public holidays. Public holidays may affect this schedule (order cut-off times) but delivery days will remain the same.
(For example, if Monday is a Public Holiday, orders would need to be received by 11am on Friday in order to be dispatched the following Tuesday)

All south orders received prior to 11am on Wednesday will be dispatched on the following Thursday. All orders received after the 11am cutoff on Wednesday will be delivered on the following week’s Thursday deliveries.

Currently the Adlsouth zone includes: Aldinga, Aldinga Beach, Maslin Beach, Mclaren Vale, Moana, Port Willunga, Seaford, Seaford Heights, Seaford Meadows, Seaford Rise, Tatachilla, Whites Valley, Willunga

 

SA Service Areas Beyond Adelaide Metro/ Adelaide South (adlnochill/adlshort)

Please allow 1-5 business days for orders to be received. If there are any issues which will delay your order dispatch you will be advised, however actual transit times and delivery are dependent upon the courier’s delivery schedule directly. Any queries in regards to orders that have been dispatched should be addressed with the courier directly. Refer to the “Track Your Order” page for further information.

 

  Deliveries in NSW / QLD / TAS / VIC / WA 

Once an order is received in the system it will generally be picked and shipped the following business day. Please allow 1-2 business days for local (metro) deliveries to be received, however additional time may be required for delivery to areas that fall outside of the CBD/metropolitan area (shorthaul, regional, etc.). Actual transit times and delivery are dependent upon the courier’s delivery schedule directly. Any queries in regards to orders that have been dispatched should be addressed with the courier directly. Refer to the “Track Your Order” page for further information.

Please note that orders that contain chilled and/or frozen products, including fresh fruit & vegetables, will be dispatched mornings only and delivered during that same afternoon. This is to ensure that product integrity is not compromised during transit. Therefore, if an order containing these goods is not able to make the original designated dispatch date it will be dispatched the next business morning.

 

How does Pantry Packer ship orders?

Pantry Packer uses couriers to deliver all orders. Any specific delivery instructions provided for your order will be noted by us on the address label for the courier's reference. Please note that we cannot guarantee specific delivery times or for the delivery driver to contact you prior to or at the time of delivery. We will most definitely, however, do our best to convey your instructions to the driver via notations on the address label as aforementioned. 

 

 

Shipping to a Gated Home/Complex with restricted access?

Generally if no one is available at the time your order is being delivered the order will be left at the premises for you (as per the specific instructions provided by you, if any). If you live in a residence where there is restricted access to your front door (i.e. an apartment complex with a security door/gate, a gated community, etc) your order will be left at the security door, gate, etc. If you do not wish for this to happen then perhaps it might be a better idea to have the order delivered to your place of business or perhaps the residence of a friend, neighbour or other family member. Should you have any concerns you can always give us a call or send an email and we'd be glad to discuss all options.

 


Can I get things delivered to a PO Box?

As we use couriers for our deliveries a physical delivery address is required. However, in some rare instances we can make arrangements to deliver to a PO Box but it is obviously dependent on the type of products you have ordered.  You should contact us prior to placing an order using a PO Box as a delivery address to ensure that the product(s) you would like to order can in fact be shipped this way (item(s) must be small in size, cannot be packaged in glass containers or be a liquid or liquid-type substance where spillage would be a concern - such as toppings, jams, drinks, etc.)

 

 

Do you have store locations where I can purchase products directly or pick up an order?

Unfortunately no - orders cannot be picked up as we do not have any "stores" that can be accessed. All orders are dispatched directly from the warehouse closest to your delivery location.

 

 

How are refrigerated and frozen items packaged?

Fridge and Freezer products are packaged in polystyrene boxes layered with ice packs.  Note, however, that once items are delivered, no responsibility is taken by Pantry Packer.

In effort to be more sustainable, Fresh Fruit & Vegetable orders are now packed in wax-coated boxes with an ice pack(s). Although in warmer weather we may need to pack them in polystyrene boxes to help keep them fresh and crisp!
